These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Zooki application and related services ("Zooki"). By creating an account or using Zooki, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the application.
2) Purpose of the service
Zooki is an application designed for students to facilitate learning through audio transcription, summaries, flashcards, and gamified revision tools. The service is strictly intended for personal and educational use only.
3) Eligibility
Zooki is intended for students aged 16 and above. By using the application, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and that you provide accurate information regarding your age, academic year, and location when requested.
4) Account registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
5) User content
You may record audio directly within the application, upload audio files from other sources, or import documents such as PDFs. You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to use and process any content you upload or record. You may not upload or record content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy rights, or breaches applicable law.
All content that you create or import into Zooki remains private to your account. Zooki does not provide functionality to share audio, transcripts, summaries, or study content with others.
6) Personal and educational use only
You may use Zooki only for personal learning purposes. Commercial use, redistribution of generated content, or use of the service in connection with cheating or academic misconduct is strictly prohibited.
7) Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in and to Zooki, including its software, algorithms, design, and branding, remain the exclusive property of Zooki and its licensors. You retain ownership of your own uploaded content and study materials.
8) Subscriptions and payments
Zooki may offer both free and premium subscription plans. Premium plans may include additional features such as extended transcription hours or enhanced gamification tools. Payments are processed through the App Store or Google Play, and all purchases are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Subscriptions will renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with platform policies.
9) Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Zooki may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in unlawful activity.
10) Limitation of liability
Zooki provides its services on an "as is" basis. While we strive to provide reliable and accurate tools, we make no guarantees that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zooki shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application.
11) Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Brussels.
12) Changes to the terms
Zooki may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the application or by email. Your continued use of Zooki after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
